Function

​

- You are responsible for the preparation, processing, and finishing of metal constructions based on instructions, welding plans, or technical drawings. You will sometimes work independently and sometimes as part of a team.

- You have knowledge of welding equipment and know how to set it up depending on the material to be welded and the welding position.

- You are familiar with the application of assembly and welding sequences.

- You are experienced with material processing tasks that occur before or after welding,
e.g. weld beveling, fitting, etc.

- You take good care of your equipment and perform basic maintenance.

Profile

​

- You are a certified welder with solid knowledge of (photo) welding (WPS – PQR procedure) and the most common welding processes such as TIG, semi-automatic/MIG-MAG, electrode welding, submerged arc welding, etc.

- You know the various weld types and positions (V–X–Y).

- You can identify welding defects and assess their impact.

- You are willing to work both in the workshop (Lokeren) and on-site.

- You consider safety and quality important and strictly follow the required procedures.

European Welding BV (abbreviated: EUROWELD) is a welding company located in the Port of Antwerp.
It has been active for more than 25 years and relies on a loyal team of employees, complemented by subcontractors.

Thanks to many years of experience, EUROWELD is highly familiar with industrial and petrochemical piping on the one hand, and with various custom-made constructions on the other.

EUROWELD’s activities include both work performed in its own workshop and work carried out on-site for clients.

Since 2024, EUROWELD also has its own coating and blasting department at the same port location.
